Recruits build discipline, confidence and teamwork during this two-week military foundation. Only successful completion of CBT earns the title of Cadet.

What the Complete
Program Requires.
Complete the CBT Foundation
Graduate from Cadet Basic Training before continuing into the Cadet Military Police Academy. Successful completion of the POST Physical Agility and Ability Test is required for academy graduation.
Meet the Fitness Standards
CBT uses two-minute push-ups, two-minute sit-ups and a timed two-mile run. Graduation requires at least 50 points per event and 150 total.
Complete Academy Requirements
Graduation requires successful completion of academy training and the POST Physical Agility and Ability Test (PAAT). Read the linked test standards before attending. This youth program does not confer law-enforcement licensure.
Complete Family Preparation
Submit the required medical paperwork, follow course-specific packing and reporting instructions, and accept the grooming standards. Male Recruits receive the required crewcut on Receiving Day.
