R-Day Polo Requirements.
Arrive in khaki trousers, a belt and the polo that applies to your status:
- Recruits
- A plain black polo is acceptable.
- Cadets
- An emblematic black polo with the official XMC logo is required.
The Cadet polo requirement applies whenever a Cadet reports for training, including a return after Cadet Basic Training.
Complete the Arrival Uniform.
Tuck in your shirt and secure its buttons except the top button. Align the belt with the trouser fly and tie footwear securely. Recruits may wear gym shoes; Cadets may wear gym shoes or authorized tan combat boots as described in the current Parents’ Guide.
