Required Before Participation.
Every Recruit and Cadet must complete the required enhanced sports physical within 60 days of the start of camp. Use the current form in your CampMinder account and have it completed by a Medical Doctor, Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
Medication Screening Comes First.
All medications require advance screening and approval by XMC through the enrollment process. List every medication and the condition it treats on the physical-exam form and in the online Health History in CampMinder. Eligibility is reviewed case by case; submitting information does not guarantee approval.
Before Arrival and on R-Day.
- Prescription medications and vitamins must be pre-approved. Bring approved items in their original packaging and turn them in to the Medical Aid Station on Receiving Day (R-Day).
- Over-the-counter (OTC) medications are permitted provided they are administered by the Medical Aid Station and the Medical Administration Fee has been paid. Keep them in their original containers, complete the required Medical Authorization in CampMinder and turn them in to medical staff on Receiving Day.
- A qualified medical professional conducts Med Call each day as required. Challengers do not keep routine medications on their person; follow Medical Aid Station instructions for approved emergency medications.
If your Challenger needs a rescue inhaler, EpiPen or other emergency medication, coordinate arrangements with XMC in advance through the enrollment process and document the instructions in CampMinder. Confirm the instructions for carrying and using it before arrival, and follow Medical Aid Station guidance on R-Day.
