01 / THE MISSION

Leadership Also Means Supporting Others.

Not everyone in the Uniformed Services is an Infantry troop. Even in the U.S. Marine Corps, where "every Marine is a rifleman," there are support personnel to ensure the system moves efficiently.

Two or More Approved Weeks

Service Support assignments are for a minimum of two weeks. The exact assignment period must be approved around other training and current operational needs. Tuition is listed by approved CampMinder session; the minimum assignment and placement requirements still apply.

Real Work and Individual Mentorship

Cadets assist with administration, public affairs, operations, supply and other approved support functions. Assignments may include summer preparation or support during summer training. Hard work is paired with experience alongside Cadre and opportunities for mentorship.
