SUMMER 2027 ENROLLMENT IS OPEN

EXPECTATIONS

Is It Hard?

Yes. It’s supposed to be challenging. XMC asks for effort, discipline and a willingness to participate. Understand the standard before you commit.

The Challenge Is Intentional.

XMC asks young people to work hard, follow instructions and take responsibility. Training can be physically and mentally demanding. Challengers live within a structured military-style routine, participate as a team and learn to meet clear standards.

You Must Choose to Be Here.

We offer voluntary leadership and career exploration for motivated young people. It is not a delinquency, behavior-correction or court-ordered placement program. We do not accept forced placements. Do not mislead a child about the program or enroll an unwilling participant.

“Cadet” Is Earned.

Cadet Basic Training graduation is based on completing the applicable requirements, not simply attending. Course standards, conduct, effort and preparation matter.

You Do Not Have to Arrive Perfect.

Recruits can be nervous or inexperienced and still make an honest effort. A willingness to learn and participate is essential. Review fitness, grooming, packing and daily-life expectations together before enrollment.

Parents Are Accountable, Too.

Provide accurate information, complete every required step and follow the instructions to the letter. Missing forms, incomplete preparation, false information or refusal to follow standards can lead to refusal of admission or dismissal. All payments are nonrefundable; there are no refunds, under any circumstances.
