Our Mission.

To instill the values of Respect, Integrity and Pride in young adults through a series of realistic, challenging and rewarding military career exploration programs.

Our Vision.

To be known as the premier military career exploration program worldwide, noted for its dedication to youth, quality of training, and respect for the heritage and traditions of all branches of the Uniformed Services.

Our Guiding Principles.

To effectively accomplish our Mission and Vision, we subscribe to the following principles:

  1. The health, safety and well-being of our Challengers, Cadre and visitors is always our number-one priority.
  2. The development of the individual Challenger is the sole purpose of Extreme Military Challenge! No aspect of our program is to take priority over our mission of developing young leaders.
  3. We will endeavor to provide a program which is challenging, exciting and rewarding. We will encourage Cadets to test their physical, mental and emotional limits while ensuring a safe, wholesome and realistic training environment.
  4. The Cadre exists to serve the Cadets, providing young people the opportunity to learn leadership, self-confidence and patriotism. Cadets will be allowed to develop their leadership skills—at all levels—as is reasonably possible. We are a training ground for tomorrow’s leaders and accept that mistakes may be made in order to learn valuable life lessons.
  5. The wear of the uniform is a privilege that we take seriously. We will be as professional at our unique mission as our active-duty, reserve and National Guard colleagues. Military-style rank is a training aid which will never overshadow our primary role as caring adults working with youth.
  6. Communication is essential to success. All members of Extreme Military Challenge!—including Cadre and Challengers—are encouraged to communicate openly and honestly, within the parameters of good order and discipline.
  7. We are mindful that we accept responsibility for young men and women from around the globe. While the daily execution of our program does take priority, we will also endeavor to ensure the families of our Challengers are regularly kept informed regarding the status of their Cadet or Recruit. We pride ourselves in providing a high level of detailed and professional communication which is reflective of the consistent excellence of our program.

The Cadet Honor Code.

A Cadet does not lie, cheat or steal, nor tolerate those who do.

Integrity means honest words and actions, doing your own work and taking responsibility for mistakes. Raise concerns through the Published Reporting Route ↗.

The XMC Cadet Creed

I have EARNED the Title of CADET.
I will RESPECT those who serve in the military or as a First Responder,

I will do my duty. I will give 100%. I will NEVER quit.
