MORE THAN ONE COURSE?

Plan the Transition
As Well as the Celebration.

A combined program may include more than one graduation weekend. Check each course’s schedule and follow the instructions for Cadets continuing into their next course.

Approved Release Procedures Apply.

Any pass or furlough for a Cadet continuing training requires program authorization and the current parent-permission and CampMinder procedures. If another family will assume responsibility, complete the approved release arrangements before the event.

Follow the authorized check-out, return time and check-in instructions. Coordinate final departure and airport transportation with Admissions before booking. XMC transportation is available only to enrolled Challengers. Parents may not ride in any XMC corporate vehicle and must arrange their own transportation.Local transportation options in Cullman County are very limited. Uber and Lyft availability is rare. Parents should arrange their own transportation before traveling.

A PARENT-LED TRADITION

The Challengers’ Feast.
A Celebration They Have Earned.

The Challengers’ Feast follows the Gauntlet on the Thursday before Cadet Field Leader Course graduation. It recognizes the work, teamwork and perseverance of the Cadets.

Parent volunteers organize and serve the Feast, bringing it together through donations. For many Cadets, it is their first opportunity for sweets, sodas and similar treats during that Training Mission.

All Cadets on post are allowed to attend the Challengers’ Feast, including Cadets in other courses. Recruits on post are not permitted to attend.

The event remains subject to performance and command approval. Thursday’s Feast is separate from Friday’s Friends and Family Night and Saturday’s Graduation Review.

Military-family Visits

Immediate family members serving on active duty, in the Reserve or retired from the Armed Forces may visit during the training week only with advance approval from the Commander. Approved military-family visitors are expected to wear their uniform and may be invited to speak with Challengers about their service.

Request approval through Admissions before planning a visit. Challenger barracks remain off-limits to visitors, and all youth-protection and release procedures apply.
