Previous attendance does not automatically qualify a Cadet for every course. Review age, prior training, fitness and selection requirements before enrolling. Talk together about the challenge, the Cadet’s goals and the level of responsibility that the next course requires.
Cadet Ranger School.
Returning candidates must be at least 15, have graduated CBT and meet the published physical and performance standards. The separate first-year CBT + Ranger package starts at age 16. No age waivers.

Cadet Ranger Leadership requires the published prerequisites and Course Director acceptance. Service Support requires an approved assignment. Spring OJT and the Staff Ride have separate application or selection processes.

Use the Parent Portal and current family-account tasks. Confirm the packing list, required medical paperwork, fitness and grooming standards for your enrollment. Do not rely on instructions from a previous summer.

Planning a Service Support Assignment?
Applicants are at least 15, have graduated CFLC or Cadet Ranger School and have completed at least four XMC weeks. Assignments require Admissions selection and a minimum of two approved weeks.

Cadet to Active Duty Internship.
Experienced XMC graduates preparing for military Basic Training or college can apply for a residential internship at Camp Liberty.
