Meals That Support Full Training Days.

The Camp Liberty Dining Facility serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. A dedicated food-service team supports the program, with Challengers assisting in assigned Kitchen Patrol duties.

Choose Special Meals in CampMinder.

We can accommodate special food requirements, including vegan and kosher meals. These options are selected in CampMinder as part of enrollment.

  1. Choose your meal option. Review the available special-meal options and their details in CampMinder when you enroll.
  2. Disclose health requirements separately. Complete the online Health History with all food allergies and dietary medical requirements. Selecting a meal option does not replace this disclosure.
  3. Complete your family-account tasks. Follow the current enrollment instructions and submit the required information before arrival.

FOOD SERVICE AND RESPONSIBILITY

Meals Prepared
For Active Days.

The SOP requires ServSafe Manager certification for food-service leadership and ServSafe Food Handler certification for food-service personnel. Challenger Kitchen Patrol duties support cleanup and shared responsibility; they do not replace the qualified food-service team.

The Dining Facility operates to applicable Alabama health requirements and provides regular, nutritionally balanced meals for active teenagers. Families may ask XMC about current food-service qualifications and inspection information.

THE DINING FACILITY TEAM

Good Food. Shared Responsibility.

Our Mess Sergeant and food-service professionals serve more than 250 people three times a day during the summer. Two food-service shifts are supported by four to eight Challenger Kitchen Patrols at each meal.

Our priorities are tasty, plentiful meals, healthy fuel for active days and cost-effective service with minimal waste. KPs help with cleanup and responsibility while the food-service team manages meal preparation.

A Special Tradition:
The Challengers’ Feast.

Separate from regular Dining Facility meals, parent volunteers organize a donation-supported Feast after the Gauntlet on the Thursday before CFLC graduation. All Cadets on post may attend; Recruits may not.
