TRAINING AND EDUCATION

Every Challenger, Military Cadre member, civilian staff member, volunteer, and guest watches the training video featured on this page, which outlines our policies regarding harassment, discrimination, bullying, and professional conduct.
This training ensures that everyone understands our standards, reporting procedures, and commitment to maintaining a safe, respectful, and professional training environment. Our Military Cadre and civilian staff receive additional training before working with Challengers. At the beginning of every training cycle, all Challengers—both recruits and returning Cadets—receive instruction on our Standards of Conduct so they clearly understand:
-
What constitutes harassment and discrimination.
-
Examples of unacceptable conduct.
-
Their responsibility to treat others with dignity and respect.
-
How to report concerns immediately.
-
Their duty to report misconduct when they witness it.
These standards are reinforced throughout every course and displayed throughout the training areas and barracks.
OUR COMMITMENT
Barracks Reminder Posters
In addition to formal training, the Sexual Harassment and Equal Opportunity poster displayed on this page is prominently posted in every barracks at Camp Liberty.
The poster reminds every Challenger that:
-
Sexual harassment is unlawful and will not be tolerated.
-
Unwelcome physical, verbal, or non-verbal conduct of a sexual nature is prohibited.
-
Lewd comments, sexually offensive jokes, unwanted touching, pinching, inappropriate physical contact, sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and sexually colored remarks are prohibited.
-
Exposing oneself or intentionally touching another person without consent may constitute sexual assault and may result in criminal prosecution.
-
Anyone who experiences or witnesses harassment or assault must immediately notify any adult wearing a black or red shirt. They will take immediate action.
These posters serve as a constant reminder that maintaining a respectful environment is everyone's responsibility.
